This directory contains files generated by the TARGET database (http://compbio.mcs.anl.gov/target) in support of the Midwest Structural Biology Center (http://www.mcsg.anl.gov.

Structural targets generated and supporting data and information are provided in several files and divided by organism or project.

All file names indicate if the protein structural targets are soluble or membrane and include taxonomy id or project name and date created.

file "targets_*.txt" - contains selected targets and similarity to PDB, MCSG, and other NIGMS centers.

file "paralogs_*.txt" - paralogs of given organism with a BLAST cut-off score of 1e-05.

file "protein_seqs_*.txt" - all protein sequences for the selected targets.

file "gene_seqs_*.txt" - all gene (DNA) sequences for the selected targets.
