Choose a solver for the input format and type of optimization problem that you want to solve. If you are not sure of the type of optimization problem, consult the Optimization Tree of the NEOS Guide for information on optimization problems. If you do not see your desired format as a category, check the solvers under Another Format for an appropriate choice. You may need to follow the link to a solver's pages on the Server to find all of the input types a solver accepts. You can also view solvers by problem type.

Each solver has sample problems and background information on the solver. Be sure to submit a sample problem to get a feel for how to submit optimization problems to NEOS. If you encounter problems, consult the NEOS Server FAQ, or send mail to us by clicking on the Comments and Questions icon at the bottom of the page.
