Submission Tool (TCP/IP sockets)


The Submission Tool is an interactive Graphical User Interface (GUI) that allows you to submit problems to directly from your local machine. Job results are immediately displayed on your screen, and convenient forms enable you to quickly modify input parameters for later submission. The Submission Tool is available for a variety of Unix-based systems, given that the user's system provides facilities such as Perl and X Windows. A JAVA-based version of the Submission Tool is also available for many systems.

Below we show example snapshots of a Submission Tool window. The example form on the left is used to submit integer programming problems to MIQP. The form on the right from the JAVA SubmitClient tool is used to submit unconstrained optimization problems to CGplus.
