SELECTING FROM THE SOFTWARE LIBRARY Under the menu Solver is a list of different types of optimization; each of these submenus leads to a collection of optimization software of that type on the Internet. Selecting a solver menu item will give you more information on the software available and a submission form for submitting your own problems. II. SUBMITTING JOBS Explanations of the content required by the submission form can be found in the main window of the submission tool after you select a solver. When the form requires a file as input, the file submitted may be in compressed format as long as simple deflation is used. The submission tool places all NEOS tokens around your input. Job submissions may be saved and later opened by using the Save and Open commands under the File menu of each submission form. III. VIEWING JOBS After you submit a job you will be given a window to view the job as it passes through the Server and onto the appropriate software package - which may be anywhere on the Internet. Progress comments from the solver driver will be displayed in real time. A message will indicate when the solver has finished with the job. Also, the Online indicator light will turn red. IV. SENDING COMMENTS The NEOS Server and the solvers are under constant development. Please send your comments and questions to .
