Figure 5. Shown here is the metabolic reconstruction of reductive parts of some respiratory pathways in P. aeroginosae. The EC numbers for the enzymes that are present in P. aeroginosae genome are displayed in colored in green or dark pink if they represent a "signature" enzyme, and pale blue if absent from the genome. The enzymes that correspond to the genes that form conserved chromosomal gene clusters are marked with an oval shape. As one can see from the figure, P. aeroginosae can use a variety of electron acceptors for anaerobic respiration.
